The fishing is great on Lake Michigan and the action starts in March for football size brown trout. Of course, I'm sure you've heard .. Frankfort, Michigan is home to some of the largest salmon on Lake Michigan and that action starts in April and into September, in addition. we have steelhead trout, lake and brown trout. In late fall, the Frankfort area has some of the best steelhead fishing anywhere in Michigan. Fish for these skyrocking steelies in October and even into November as they move into the Bestie river.

We typically run 8 to 12 rods , we fish with mono and lead core, downriggers, side planer boards and wire line dipseys. Our boat is equipped with the latest lures and electrontics.

Comfortable 31' Silverton with a large fishing platform
The "INTIMIDATOR" is a DNR inspected and approved charter boat fishing vessel - specializing in Lake Michigan charter boat fishing.
- She is a fully equipped 31' Silverton with twin 350 Crusaders to get you to the fishing spot quickly.
- She has a large comfortable cabin with a couch, refrigerator, and a private bathroom facility.
- We will be fishing out of the historic port of Frankfort, which yields some of the most beautiful scenery on the Michigan coastline.
- On a clear day you will see the towering bluffs of Frankfort, the Sleeping Bear Dunes, Point Betsie Lighthouse, and even the North and South Manitou Islands.
- The main reason so many people come to Frankfort, MI to fish is the fish friendly underwater structure. All of this structure draws clouds of baitfish, which in turn, draws hungry salmon and trout.
- Some of the best fishing in the Frankfort area is early spring and late fall. $350 groups of 4 can fish in March & April for brown trout and October / November for steelhead.
